Our Library Series Returns!
Santa Monica Rep is beyond excited to announce that our playreading series - in partnership with the Santa Monica Library - will be back in 2025!
This long-standing collaboration (which has always been free and open to the public) was the first offering Santa Monica Rep ever made to our audience back in 2010. It’s where we began our tradition of hosting talkbacks after each performance, and it’s where we first came together as a company and theatrical community.
We hope we can count on your support as we look ahead to continuing this powerful series in 2025. We can’t wait to celebrate Santa Monica Rep’s 15th year of creating engaging, challenging, funny, topical theatre. We have an exciting slate of projects, including a new, hyper-local play about a Santa Monica family by our very own Artistic Director, Tanya White.
And while we know that there are many worthwhile organizations seeking your support, we hope you’ll continue to show how much you value live, local theatre. We can’t do it without you, and we can't wait to see you in 2025!

Our goal is to gather and archive at least 100 stories about Santa Monica. We can't do that without storytellers, and that could be YOU! We're reaching out, teaching workshops, providing coaching, and producing shows highlighting stories of Santa Monica told by Santa Monicans.
